I’m a Junior pre-med student in the School of Integrated Health Sciences who graduated from College of Southern Nevada in the spring of 2024. As of right now I’m deciding whether I want to pursue being a cardiologist, neurologist, or go into medical genetics in terms of specialties after medical school in the future. I am a member of the McNair Scholars program and the Southern Nevada Northern Arizona Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (SNNA-LSAMP) program. I also participate in the UNLV Judo Club and I’m currently a green belt. My current research projects involve Glial cell functions in Alzheimer’s disease using polygenic risk scores, and sleeping patterns and dementia using mendelian randomization.
